Museums in Chiang Mai

There is a surprisingly wide variety of Museums in Chiang Mai. Of all the museums in Chiang Mai, a visit to the National Museum is important , not just because the exhibits are well presented but also because if you have any interest at all in Chiang Mai you will find an enormous amount of information about the history and culture of the Lanna Kingdom.

On a lighter note, the Museum of World Insects, although fairly small, has an enormous collection of insects and many other items of interest and must be quite unique.
